Phil Bunker, managing director, LV= Broker
After studying for an Economics and Geography degree Phil qualified as a chartered accountant at Price Waterhouse and then worked at Lloyds. In 1990 he joined NIG as financial controller, progressed to personal lines director and then became managing director, when he was instrumental in the sale of NIG to Churchill. He saw NIG double in size to £1 billion GWP. He left NIG following the Royal Bank of Scotland/Direct Line takeover. Phil joined Liverpool Victoria in 2006 and became director of LV= Broker, which encompasses Highway Insurance, ABC Insurance and LV= Commercial.
